Pre-Purchase Building Inspections comprise of a visual inspection of structural and non-structural components of the main house and any associated outbuildings (Garden sheds, garages, retaining walls etc.) A report compliant with AS4349.1 (Aust. Standard for Inspections of Buildings - Pre-Purchase Inspections) will be provided, along with a plain English summary of the report, the following business day.
If a pest inspection has also been requested, this will be carried out by a licensed pest inspector, on your behalf, concurrently with the building inspection.
A Pre-Sale Building Inspection is the ideal way to minimise surprises and maximise the value of your home prior to putting it on the market. This inspection will give you a list of items that you can choose to remedy, before putting the ‘For Sale’ sign up. Giving prospective purchasers less room for negotiation.
Have BEECON inspect your new build or renovation before you move in. We will be able to highlight any works that are not compliant with relative building standards and legislation, before you make you final payment. This gives your builder the best incentive to complete and defective or unfinished work.
